You might think that by eating large amounts of food at breakfast, can help you consumefewer calories throughout the day. But a German researcher said, skipping meals or doingbreakfast with a large portion in order to lose weight, apparently it is not appropriate.
New research published in the journal of nutrition showed that people who eat breakfast in large portions, was still eating the same portions at lunch and dinner.
“The results showed that people eat together at lunch and dinner, regardless of what they had eaten at breakfast,” said lead researcher Dr. Volker Schusdziarra, as reported byFemalefirst.
Despite a big meal at breakfast was found to be correlated with the size of the mealcontinued, but the research will be needed to determine whether reducing caloric intake at breakfast actually lead to weight loss.
However, doing a healthy breakfast is better for you than to miss it. Or, it could alsochoose to eat a snack at mid morning until lunch time arrived. Skipping breakfast will only make us eat more throughout the day as compensation.
